Enjoying almost 5 amazing months of my motherhood journey

There isn't a day that I don't smile at my baby girl and thank the universe for this beautiful road of motherhood. Although, there are moments I ask myself, what did I get myself into! It has been an amazing trip where I always end up soaring high with happiness. If I could only fully describe the feeling Zazil gives me as she looks up at me with her big sparkling eyes, pauses for a moment from nursing, smiles at me, and coos before going back to feeding. I see my reflection in her eyes, as she loves me back. Ah, beautiful moments and gifts of life. Now that I know how much work, time, attention, and love my baby requires of me, I appreciate and love my mother even more for giving me everything I needed to become the person that I am now. I only hope that I too can deliver a nurturing and loving environment that will make Zazil blossom to a beautiful conscious woman.

No hay un día que no le sonrió a mi nena y agradezco al universo por este viaje de maternidad. Aunque hay momentos que me pregunto, ¡En que me he metido! A sido un increíble viaje donde siempre vuelo muy alto de felicidad. Si tan solo podría describir por completo el sentimiento que me da Zazil cuando me mira asía arriba con sus ojos brillantes, pausa de amamantar por un instante, me sonríe, y hace gorgoritos antes de regresar a comer. Veo mi reflexión en sus ojos. Una reflexión de amor. Ah, los bellos momentos y regalos de la vida. Ahora que sé cuanto trabajo, tiempo, atención, y amor mi bebé requiere de mi, aprecio y amo aún más a mi mamá por darme todo lo que necesité para ser la persona que soy ahora. Solo espero que yo también pueda darle un ambiente nutriente y amoroso que hará que Zazil florezca a ser una bella y consiente mujer.
